My second attempt at painting was better. I painted some gargoyles from a painting by Michael Parkes (the one with the little girl blowing bubbles and the gargoyle breaking free to catch it). They didn't look horrible, so I figured, "Go big or go home." I bought a 24X36 canvas and did a pretty good replica. Doing that painting really caught my interest to do more. Most of what I've done has been copies of other people's work and while I can't post it here, it has really helped me learn and explore different techniques.
